BSS Gurukulam Higher Secondary School , Alathur- 10th year secured the highest points in Asia's biggest cultural event Kerala School Arts Festival (Kalolsavam ) .  BSS Gurukulam, Alathur has been maintaining its first position in the Kerala School Arts Festival (Kalolsavam ) since 2010. We were instrumental in the district securing the gold cup for Palakkad District.
